Sunday night Jake and I started on what we thought was a casual bike ride enjoying the warm weather. Little did we know we would continue riding another 8.5 miles to his parents house in Redmond. We were both in sandals and I was in a skirt. I wish I had warn better clothes. The last 10 minutes it started to rain and it felt lovely.

This is from when Jake and I first started dating. We had a crazy idea to ride our bikes from Laie to just past Pipeline. It was fun but hard.

kudos to you both. That is far (both the one you recently did and the ride in Hawaii). Pretty sure that's not my sort of a leisurely ride :)
I rode my bike to Turtle BAy a couple times and it is HARD...There really is a strong ocean wind (breeze sounds too nice) that really can make it feel like you are riding a stationary bike. Good for you for taking a piece of your Hawaiian Culture with you where ever you go...I 'm sure this won't be the lst bike excursion we hear of :)

dang girl, your thighs must be like steel! i would really love to get together with you. it might be fun for all of us to go out, you, me and heather and boys?
It was really good to see you guys. I wish we lived closer. Keep up the bike riding and next time we venture to Bellingham for Mountain Biking we will count you in.
