***I found some pillow cases at TJ Maxx the other day. Here is the final product.
Jake and I finished making our headboard this weekend. It turned out quite nice. Total cost was 45 dollars. Jake picked out the fabric from Joanns for 3 bucks a yard!
The colors in the photos are really weird but the fabric is a gray/brown. Now I need to find a panel cover for our bed and fabric for pillow cases.

After nailing in the first 10 upholstery nails we decided against the second row.
*Has anyone used upholstery nails before? Is there a better way than just hand nailing them? They are seriously so difficult.

Looks great. Did you try a power nailer? Don't know if that would work...but, that's my suggestion. It's like a power drill, but it nails stuff instead. Board looks awesome though.
