I decided to take a break from the blogging world. Not totally intentional but it felt good. I needed to ween myself off of this need. So, here I am back at it again.
There are pictures to come but here is what we have been up to in the last month.
- Took a trip down to Portland for a few days
- Ate a whole bag of peanuts while watching the Mariners loose to the White Sox
- Signed my teaching contract for next year (Yeah!!! I get my own self contained class and I so excited).
- Found out I was getting not only a full time teaching position but all the teachers in my district got an 8.2% salary increase.
- Jake has been tearing it up at his job and they have been noticing his awesomeness and rewarding him. Boo Yeah!
- Being on a wack diet for my allergies (4 Weeks now). Boo, thumbs down! (No dairy, wheat, gluten, casein, eggs, acidic fruit, caffeine, cocoa, pork, beef or salami.)
- Went to California for Memorial Day weekend and saw the WHOLE family.
- And...signed a one year lease for an adorable condo in Woodinville. (this is going to be dangerous because we are directly across the street from Target and Cost Plus. We can see it from our little deck.)
Anyway, that is what we have been up to lately. I will post pictures later.

wow! i was worried about you guys because you have been under the radar since we saw you last. glad to hear that in your absence nothing but good has met you at your door. congrats on it all! and i'm excited to see your new place (and kelsey and aaron's new place)! we'll be up there in two weeks (the 12th) for a friends wedding. we will have to sneak a peak then. welcome back!
Yay for a new place! Yay you have a full time job AND a pay raise! Yay Jake for good jobness!

FINALLY! Jut for the record I check your blog multiple times every single day and today it was SO exciting to see that you're back! It was grrrreat talking to you today! I miss your FACE!
Glad to hear what you have been up to. It is good to get away from the computer, it can really suck you in sometimes.
Hooray on the teaching job that is really exciting...sounds like you two are doing great!
And I am so stoked to go to Target again...I am so sick of WalMart. Ugh! Target can be very dangerous and so can Cost Plus, I love that store!

Congrats on the job and the condo. That is very exciting! Save up some good stories for me. I took Felicity to see my old students and it was so funny! They said that I look so "flat" (they only knew me when I was pregnant) and almost every one of them asked if she was a boy or a girl even though she was wearing pink, earrings and a bow. Good luck on figuring out the allergy thing. I could never do that diet!
