I have been wanting a dress form for a long time and researched some diy techniques and this is what we came up with.
All you need is:
1 roll gray duct tape
1 roll white duct tape (they have a lot of other colors here.)
Saran wrap (for your neck line)
T-shirt (to wear under)
Scissors (to cut shirt off)
It took us only about an hour. We are going to stuff it with pillow stuffing and cover it with fabric. Then we are going to post it on a standing coat rack. I will post pics of that when it is all finished. We bought a tripod at Value Village and set the camera up and then Jake put it all together.

I don't know what a dress form is but you make me want one!! I heard that you made bibs for big people, I need one....I think you inspired me to want to learn to sew.

BWAhahahaBWahaha! That is such a great video! How in the world did you think of such a thing? It will really work, won't it?! You guys are so clever...
hi! i just left a comment in your post of bibs and aprons below, but then i realized you might not see it since its farther down. love to you from hawaii! (: patria
this is so cool! what a great idea- seriously. i want to do this!
That is so funny! We just made these in the sewing class I am taking! I actually didn't make one (it is optional) because I am not ambitious enough to think for one second that I'll actually sew clothes. But they turned out pretty cool!
aj, that is awesome! i bet that felt really cool to be in all that sticky business. i really want to see the final product.
Okay, one more thing I need to say to AJ.....I am working as a skills trainer in a sped class in Mililani and every single day I wish that you were the teacher in my class. Can I come work for you some day?
ha! that is awesome! i want to do that! and that video was totally you! i was laughing the whole time!
also a good look for your trip to the future. i see your craft table, when am i coming over to see it in real life? mine is getting moved upstairs to it's own room. that it has to share with aaron's computers.

my cousin megan just texted me to let me know that i was listed on your page under a most honored title. that's the best. ever.
very cool. it looks like wilma's dress from the jetsons.
Mike helped me make one of these when we were in Hawaii. I was a hot sweaty mess by the time we finished. Good stuff.
